Miriam, I know that’s what they tell us. I’m just rebellious, I guess. I started bathing Marie daily when she was able to sit in the baby tub and her behind was sore. It seems to me that it helps their bottoms to get a little soak in the water. Now, she spits up so much all over her self a couple times a day, and I just can’t go without bathing her. Sometimes it’s all plastered in her hair on one side of her head (and she looks like a pitiful drowned cat). The times I’ve thought of not giving her a bath in the morning, something like that comes along, and I know she needs her bath. On the side, I’ve never had trouble with my babies having dry skin, not in this stage of life, anyway.

Oh, Sal! This cracked me up!! Granted, I’m kinda tired and loopy at the moment, but still, this is funny! Even more so now, cause you just sat down in your chair eating cereal while I’m typing! Can you tell I’m tired? Ok I’m done now, but I really did enjoy this post.

I’m surprised you bath(ed) your babies every day… I thought you weren’t supposed to give them baths daily b/c it would dry out their skin. All your kids still have their skin (even though Hannah’s went down the tub drain one night if I remember right…), so I guess it doesn’t hurt And the no-brain thing… I could barely tell which end was up some days after Susannah was born. I would have to conciously study my watch to figure out what time it was sometimes.

OK, I am going to respond to this post and the previous one all at one time because I am getting close to the end of my scheduled computer time today. (I am trying a new program for staying on top of my home-life, housework, etc.)
I am so glad you take the time to post about the cute kiddies. They are so spot-on with some of the things they say. “Lord, save me!” Yes, please, every day every hour, from nasty thoughts about the guy who cussed me out, from my impatient attitude, from my discontent, etc.

On the previous post, I am not in your season and maybe will never be in the exact one, but I really struggle with not wishing away each season of life I come to. Watching others in theirs and thinking my season is just not as fun as everyone else’s. Guess what? With a wrong attitude like I can have, no season will be fun. Lord, save me.

Uncle Ted will applaud Hannah when I tell him her definition of Facebook; finally, someone who agrees with him!
