Unplugged from the TV and related media, that is.  So how in the world are my kids entertained?  What do I use to babysit them when I need a break?

I tell them to go outside.  (I do not ask, I do not beg, I don’t suggest.  I instruct them to go outside.)

And then what happens?  They pull up their chairs and get their Potato Heads and settle down to watch a movie, of course.

From Paul’s facial expression, it’s very exciting, at least at some parts.

Hannah’s really into it, you can tell.

So, what are they watching?

What has completely captured their attention?

Just wait…

and see….

for yourself  (you might want to watch this same movie someday).

They are watching wash dry on the line!

Here’s the movie a little closer up.  Can you see the evaporation occurring?

(O.k., I have to admit that I put together the captions about a movie.  I was actually hanging out the wash and after helping for a while, then running around for a while, they pulled up chairs to sit and watch.)

This is too funny!!! Who would have thought that the process of evaporation would be such a captivating subject for a movie! And they got to watch it live!!

I hear there’s a sequel coming out next spring, called “Grass Growing”.
